I’m still in denial that Revelstoke Mountain Resort is closed for the season and so sad that it will be almost 8 long months before I am able to strap my skis on again. However while I was out walking this morning and feeling the sunshine on my face, and breathing in the fresh spring air, I was reminded again of all of the wonderful activities that await us here in Revelstoke to do during the spring and summer.
We are looking forward to mountain biking, hiking, fishing, horseback riding, camping, just to name a few things that we are fortunate to be able to do in this wonderful area. This truly is a magnificent area for anyone wanting to explore the various outdoor activities that are available no matter what the season.
The snow is also receding slowly on our property and the outline of our garden is slowly being exposed. The planning for our vegetable garden begins!
So whilst I am lamenting not being able to ski, there is spring in the air, and with it comes new adventures on the trails or in the garden. It is a good reminder to embrace each season and the joys which each brings.
